Learn to budget, improve credit, reduce debt, and increase savings, with optional one-to-one financial coaching sessions to get personalized guidance and create an action plan. This class is scheduled virtually on January 21st, 22nd, 28th, & 29th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

A new model for culturally specific financial education created by African Americans for African Americans. GYHIO is a five week financial literacy course that creates a safe place where African Americans talk authentically. The course involves knowledge and skill building around budgeting, saving and financial products. It also encourages reflection on family history, personal identity, community relationships and emotional responses. The course is about building knowledge and confidence in a way that is personal, non-judgmental, and deeply informed by African American experiences. Must attend all 5 classes & complete course work to receive a Certificate of Completion. Getting your House in Order is a series of 5 classes scheduled February 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th & March 5th from 6pm - 8:30pm. All classes must be attended and Homework handed in to receive a Certificate of Completion. Participation is required.
